The 2012 Cadillac CTS Coupe is a vehicle designed to provide top-of-the-line functionality, while providing riders with a comfortable and elegant way to travel. Looking at the back of the car, consumers will notice it features a wide stance on the road, which helps with stability, handling and comfort of ride. The CTS Coupe also comes with a 6-speed automatic transmission, equipped with Performance Algorithm Shifting. With PAS, the transmission controller is able to take over for the automatic gear selection during times of fast acceleration.

Cadillac made some improvements to the handling of this yearís CTS as well. By precisely balancing the rear-wheel drive chassis, the CTS is better equipped to provide a smoother ride with the driver having better control over the car. Iím sure we all agree that thatís always a good thing. Some of the test-drivers disagree however, saying that the 2012 CTS Coupe is not as swift or agile as some of the competitors in its class. On the other hand, other test-drivers attested to how much they liked the handling of the coupe.

As far as the bells-and-whistles go, the 2012 Cadillac CTS Coupe is well equipped. An 8Ē touchscreen navigation system comes standard, from which consumers can get voice-guided, turn-by-turn directions, or they can turn the audio navigation off and simply follow the screen. This same screen also allows consumers to see whatís behind them when in reverse, with its rearview backup camera. The picture can also be displayed on the rearview mirror. Most amazingly perhaps, is the ability to store up to 2,000 songs on the hard drive of the car, with its 10 GB of music capacity and 40 total gigs. The manufacturer has also included whatís known as ďpause-and-playĒ radio, which allows you to pause the radio station and continue listening at the same place you left off. You can also fast-forward and rewind. In essence, itís the radio version of a DVR. Cadillac has also included a free 3-month trial of Sirius XM satellite radio with your new purchase, as well as OnStar capabilities, to protect you and possibly save your life in the unfortunate and unforeseen event of an accident.

We should always go under the hood when we talk about Cadillacs. That is supposed to be where the action is at. - Nationwide Relocation Services
