2007 Chevrolet Aveo Review

For a base price of $13,250 the 2007 Chevrolet Aveo LT offers an impressive package of standard features including a comprehensive air bag system for occupant safety. Both door locks and windows are powered and the vehicle has air conditioning and cruise control. Audio comes across six speakers from a combo unit. The standard wheels are trimmed in aluminum. Running the sticker price to $14,850 gains audio buttons on the steering wheel and fog lamps.

Overall the Aveo is a somewhat tall vehicle with a narrow body. Available configurations include a five-door hatchback or foor-door sedan. For a compact, the Aveo offers excellent space with a wheelbase of 97.6 inches and an overall length of 12.725 feet. The engine is a 1.6 liter, four-cylinder producing 103-horsepower. (Available in a four-speed automatic and five-speed manual transmission, gas mileage varies from 26 to 27 city and 34 to 37 highway respectively.) If you have a need to accomodate longer objects, the rear seat folds as does the passenger seat.

The 2007 Chevrolet Aveo LS starts at $12,575 and comes with a 1.6 liter, 16-valve engine available in both a five-speed manual and a four-speed automatic transmission. (Gas mileage estimates on the LS and LT are identical.) The LS package of standards includes fourteen-inch wheels, comprehensive airbag protection, air, and an AM/FM radio unit.
