Chevrolet Suburban

The Chevrolet Suburban has been one of the longest running model names in automotive history. Introduced in 1935, the Chevrolet Suburban was around long before the SUV name was adopted by the automotive industry and represented a full size covered wagon with enough room for multiple passengers and luggage as well as the ability to tow a trailer and its contents without actually being an open bed pickup truck.

Being one of the largest SUV's on the market was not quite a prime position to hold as the years progressed and cost conscious Americans began to downsize their vehicles in an attempt to save money on fuel and the initial sticker price of their vehicles. However, the Suburban has lived through tough economic times before and continues to do so. Part of what has contributed to the longevity of the Chevrolet Suburban is Chevy's commitment to enhancing their line of SUV's, including the Suburban, and implementing the mechanical and cosmetic upgrades that continue to attract those who are in true need of a large SUV like the Suburban.

For the 2007 model year, the Chevrolet Suburban is available in three trim styles, all standard with a 5.3 liter, 310 horsepower V8 engine. An optional 6.0 liter, 366 horsepower V8 engine is also available for the upscale LT and LTZ versions. To accommodate those who are interested in saving on the cost of gasoline and/or are environmentally conscious this engine is also available as a flex-fuel model. As would be expected for a vehicle this size and functionality, four wheel drive is also an option.

All three trim levels -the LS, LT and LTZ versions- of the 2007 Chevy Suburban include a bevy of comfort and convenience features including an eight speaker premium audio system, an OnStar navigational system, dual climate control, and heavy duty trailer hitch and harness.
