MSRPs for the 2007 Chrysler 300 range from $24,555 to $36,385. The 300 has been favorably likened to the design of a Bentley with suggestions that it drives like a Mercedes, not a bad combination in a vehicle with a generous passenger cabin and more than adequate available power options. Engine choices range from a 2.7 liter V6 generating 190 horsepower to a 6.1 liter HEMI V8 turning out 425 horsepower.
The transmission for the 300C, 300 Touring, and 300 Limited is an automatic with five speeds employing an electronically-based control feature called AutoStick. An automatic with four-speeds that includes Variable Line Pressure is standard on the 300.
All models are four-door, five-passenger sedans, with options for rear or four-wheel drive. The interior of the passenger cabin measures 106.6 cubic feet. The rear seat folds according to the 60/40 arrangement provided for the easier placement of long objects. The wheelbase, a generous 120-inches, creates exceptional foot clearance for entering and existing the rear seat (where leg-room measures 40.2 inches.) The trunk has a usable capacity of 15.6 cubic feet.
The integrated information center on the 2007 Chrysler 300 delivers electronic output across more than 100 screens. The vehicle's pedals have power adjustment with the seats in the front featuring an integrated heater. In the back on the Touring, Limited, and 300C trim packages a DVD system may be added. Other optional comforts include an integrated system for voice interaction with Bluetooth driven squawk-boxes as well as navigation via a GPS unit.
