2008 Dodge Ram 1500 4WD Review
The 2008 Dodge Ram 1500 4WD sets the bar for half-ton trucks. It boasts of a superior payload and towing capacity. Also, being a Dodge, of course it comes standard with the infamous HEMI engine. Options abound in Dodge's 2008 version, both in the interior and exterior. Several trim choices give buyers the ability to choose exactly which Ram 1500 is perfect for them. You'll be hard pressed to find a tougher, more durable truck on and off the road. However, buyers should be aware that the newest 2009 version is going to be a complete overhaul of its predecessor. So, if you aren't satisfied with the 2008 design, no need to worry, a redone version of the Ram 1500 will be available soon enough.
Dodge has taken the idea of buyer options to the next level. Eleven color options are available on the Ram 1500. They range from a typical black or white to a fiery red or yellow. Buyers can also pick from the regular, quad, or mega cab style. The SXT trim offers 17-inch chrome wheels. The SXT also comes standard with power windows and locks, carpeted flooring, and power heated mirrors. If you're looking for the big guns, check out the Dodge Ram 1500 4WD Sport. It features huge 20-inch aluminum wheels, matching grille colors, and a front fascia that matches the body color. The Sport certainly ups the ante when it comes to exterior styling.
But wait; get ready for the monster of the Dodge Rams, the 1500 TRX4 Off-road. This trim allows drivers to climb hills with ease, effortlessly drudge through the mud, or still get to the work site when there has been a massive snowfall. Before hitting the market, this Ram endured 120-degree temperatures on desert trails and -20-degree temperatures in the tundra. Also, the Ram 1500 has been tested for durability by continuously being driven for over a week without stopping. Find another truck that can do that.
If a driver is looking for an eye-catching ride that proves over and over again to be the toughest on the road, the 2008 Dodge Ram 1500 4WD will easily meet his needs. Dodge has yet again proven why the Ram is considered the most durable truck on the road. Not only that, if a driver gets his kicks by going off-roading, there couldn't be a better truck to do it in. That is simply what this truck is built to do. The Ram 1500 is a well-oiled machine that just doesn't quit.
