2011 Ford Edge

The 2011 Ford Edge continues to represent excellent quality and value in the crossover sport utility market. Not really a truck and not a minivan, it's a lot more than a car and really in a class of its own. Invoice pricing for the new Edge ranges from $26,024 up to $35,627, depending on the trim and options that you select. There are seven trims available. Base trim models are reported by the EPA to deliver 19/26 mpg urban/rural and, after financing, but before automotive insurance, you can expect to pay between $518 and $723 each month.

The Ford Edge for 2011 has been comprehensively refreshed with new fascias in both the rear and the front. It features a 3.5L 285-horsepower 253 lb-ft V6 engine. The Ford Edge Sport 4WD trim offers a 3.7L 305-horsepower 280 lb-ft V6. Both engine options utilize a 6-speed automatic gearbox, however the Sport is the only trim that adds in steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters. If standard front wheel drive isn't your thing, opt for available AWD. Either way, you and your passengers will be kept safe and sound with standard safety features including:

  • AdvanceTrac electronic stability with Roll Stability Control;
  • 4-wheel antilocking brakes;
  • Tire pressure monitoring;
