On most of the 2009 Ford F-250 Super Duty 4WD super cab and crew cab versions, you can opt for either a 6-foot or 8-foot bed.

The 2008 Ford F-250 Super Duty 4WD is prepared to handle all terrains and loads with trademark power, performance, and handling.
Prior to 1999, the Ford F-250 pick up truck was nearly visually identical to the F-150. However, from the 7.3 liter V8 under the hood it was evident that the F-250 was built for more demanding tasks. For the 1999 model year the F-250 lineup was clearly differentiated from the F-150 beginning with the addition of 'Super Duty' to the F-250 name.
The Ford F-250 Super Duty debuted in 1999 with angular design and enormous grille that was quite contrary to the softened contours of the F-150. These early F-250's came in the base XL, well equipped XLT and luxurious Lariat trims, which were all offered in standard, extended and crew-cab body styles. Engine choices included the standard 5.4-liter V8 as well as the optional 6.8-liter V10 and 7.3-liter Power Stroke turbo diesel V8. A 5 speed manual transmission was standard and a 4 speed automatic was optional and all models were available with either rear wheel drive or 4WD.
The 2008 Ford F250 Super Duty 4WD received the most significant refresh this lineup has seen in recent years, and although the sheet metal is mostly unchanged, a new front fascia gives this work horse a new look. Less visually apparent upgrades include a more robust chassis that is coated to resist corrosion, an updated rear suspension design that improves ride and handling dynamics, and a bigger, stronger Power Stroke diesel V8 that delivers 350 horsepower. The interior changes are highlighted by higher quality materials. The F250 Super Duty 4WD is available with a an extended cab or a crew cab and in 4 trim levels- the base XL, midlevel XLT, the 4WD only off road oriented FX4 and the plush Lariat. Many options are available to customize the F-250, including the luxurious King Ranch package and an impressive Tow Command system that integrates the control of the trailer brakes with those on the truck.
There are 3 engines available for the 2008 Ford F-250 Super Duty-the standard 5.4 liter V8, an optional 6.8 liter V10 and the 6.4-liter Power Stroke turbodiesel V8. Transmission choices consist of a six-speed manual or a five-speed automatic. As always, consumers have a choice of either 2WD or 4WD across the lineup. Ford's extraordinarily long list of possible configurations for the F-250 Super Duty seems to ensure that there is a comfortable riding F-250 to satisfy every trucking need and budget.
