The 2009 GMC Sierra 2500HD 2WD is the sister truck to the Chevy Silverado. Although they are almost identical mechanically, the Sierra has a bit more to offer in the area of style and luxury. These trucks also come equipped with stability control systems and other safety features, such as anti-lock brakes and front air bags. Normally, in a vehicle of this size, not as much attention is given to safety issues. This isn't quite as important as it would be in a smaller car.
