2010 Honda Ridgeline Review
With pricing between $28,450 and $34,430, the 2010 Honda Ridgeline presents excellent value. This midsized, light duty pickup truck is truly skilled at making you feel that you are driving inside of a car. Additionally, the Ridgeline is highly innovative. Features like the beneath-the-bed locking storage container and 63 inches of shoulder room in the front are creating very strong sales rates. Not to mention, the Ridgeline is 20 times more twist-resistant and 3 1/2 times more bend-resistant than any other pickup truck available.
With competition coming from the Chevrolet Colorado, the Ford Explorer Sport Trac, the Nissan Frontier and the Toyota Tacoma, the 2010 Ridgeline from Honda has entered the arena with its game face on. It's pressing the boundaries and stretching the limits of what traditional pickup trucks are supposed to incorporate. For instance, the Ridgeline joins unibody construction standards with a steel ladder frame welded on - not bolted. Notably, most of the competition utilizes separate frames for their noses, beds and cabs.
The Honda Ridgeline for 2010 features a 5000 pound towing capacity and a 1550-pound payload. It does not drive like the other pickup trucks in its class. Its extra easy to maneuver - and surprisingly quiet and smooth. It's especially well-suited for providing very pleasing daily transportation. And still, when it needs to, it can perform difficult work with ease. It rides on a 122 inch wheelbase and features overall dimensions of 207 x 77.8 x 70.3 inches - length, width and height respectively. The Ridgeline clears the ground by 8.2 inches and carries its 4504 - pound curb weight effortlessly. Oh yeah, it's also the only pick up truck with a completely independent rear suspension system.
With standard seating for 5 adults, the 2010 Honda Ridgeline features a base 3.5L 350hp 247 lb-ft V6 engine. All 4 available trims are 4-wheel driven and feature a 21.3 foot turning radius. And with its 22.0-gallon fuel tank completely filled, you can expect to travel between 350 and 400 miles before you need to fill up again. EPA estimations for fuel economy on the 2010 Ridgeline are reported at 15/20 mpg city/highway. Take a closer look at the new Honda Ridgeline today and experience the trendsetting innovation.
