Isuzu i-370

The Isuzu i-370 was launched in 2007 as a replacement for the i-350. Like the i-290, the Isuzui I-370 was a product of a joint venture between Isuzu and General Motors. The Isuzu i-370 looks a lot like other GM trucks. The Isuzu i-370 is powered by a five cylinder 3.5 liter engine. The Isuzu i-370 comes in the form of a crew cab pickup truck, which has four-wheel drive or a extended cab version which has two-wheel drive. The former is a four door vehicle while the latter is a two door vehicle. It comes in two versions only, the LS and the Limited.

The LS version of the Isuzu i-370 is equipped with airbags on the side, a system to make sure that the driver does not get locked out of the vehicle, electronic mirrors, privacy glass and support for the back of the driver and passengers. The Limited version has keyless entry, a radio system to inform the driver if the vehicle is about to be stolen, a gauge that tells the passengers what the temperature outside the vehicle is, leather steering wheel, bucket seats in the front and fog lights. The Isuzu i-370 is equipped with anti-lock brakes on all four tires and side airbags.

The interior of the Isuzu i-370 has poor interior material, though the controls to change temperatures and switch on or off the stereo are easy to find and big in size. The extended cab version has two doors in its rear, with small jump seats, which adults will find difficult to fit comfortably. The larger crew cab version has four doors, with a split-seat in the back allowing three adults to fit without a problem.

Isuzu i-370 Reviews by Year

2008 Isuzu i-370
The 2008 Isuzu i-370 is the larger version of the trucks that Isuzu sells. In fact it is one of only three models of vehicle that this company still sells stateside, period. The truck is a compact-midsize vehicle that would be comparable to the GMC Canyon or the Chevy Colorado. This probably shouldn't come as a surprise, because the i-370 was developed jointly with GMC.

The i-370 is the more powerful of the two trucks that Isuzu manufactures and can be purchased in extended or crew cab configurations, and also has an optional Insta-Trac 4wd system. These options play heavily in its favor. The smaller a truck is, the worse it has been selling in recent years, with true compact models sales dipping significantly. They just don't have enough work capability to be a viable truck for most people. However, the option of getting an extended or crew cab, and being able to have four wheel drive make the i-370 more useful on the jobsite. .

While this is a lower priced truck and is obviously not a luxury model, you can still get most of the creature comforts you have come to expect in a vehicle for 2008. more
