2009 Lexus LS 600h Review

Put simply, the 2009 Lexus LS 600h is the finest car that Lexus has ever manufactured and most probably the finest car on the planet in terms of presenting an overall combination of performance, luxury and environmental responsibility. This car is clean-running! In fact, emission tests show conclusively that this full-hybrid Lexus runs 70 percent cleaner than even its closest competitor. Fuel economy ratings weigh in at 20/22 city/highway and the standard warranty covers you in complete worry-free style for 48 months or 50,000 miles.

Its base MSRP is $105,885. Lexus calls the 2009 600h "the most technologically-advanced car in the world" and they mean it. They will only release roughly 2000 models for public consumption. This car is designed and manufactured to be the symbol of the company - and to again make all class competitors truly green with envy. A 6L V12 engine gets down and dirty in the performance realm while continuing to deliver owners almost-6-cylinder gas mileage. The full-hybrid all-wheel-drive system also takes you safely through corners with very little lean, excellent grip and warp-drive power.

You have no choice: the Lexus 600h comes in only an extended wheel base variety (that's what the "L" in LS denotes). The measurement of said wheelbase is 121.7 inches and the gross vehicle weight tips in at 6.075 pounds. It's long. It's wide. It's heavy. It's the 2009 Lexus 600h and you won't find another car in the world with as much to offer you. 9 colors are available for the exterior as Lexus continues to blow all competition away in terms of interior material quality and usage. Leather and real wood accent the cabin space, which by the way is Lexus quiet - shhh.

The controls are fully integrated and easy to understand. You can even get out a magnifying glass to study each individual stitch in the seating and will find nothing but perfection. Allow yourself to be floated down the roads - even the rough ones - as the fully independent, multi-linked air-based suspension system delivers the optimum of balanced ride smoothness and control. The steering is maximally responsive and provides instantaneous feedback to the driver. You will also be knocked over by the surprisingly-small turning radius of only 19.7 feet. You will find tight-space maneuvering and parking to be simplistic, especially with the Lexus Park Assist feature working with you.

Without bothering to make a long list here, be assured that this Lexus LS 600h is loaded with every imaginable safety feature - and some that you very most likely have never imagined at all. 5-star crash test ratings from the NHTSA are a definite given. Rear seat passengers are granted the comfort presented in the first-class seating of a major airliner. Just imagine what it's like in the front. Nothing is left out - nothing is forgotten. If you are one of the lucky few that possess the resources and timing required to become the owner of one of these limited-numbered 2009 Lexus LS 600h driving machines, then you will no doubt be living in a world where most would be unable to believe.
