Base MSRP pricing for the 2010 Lexus LX begins at $76,905. There will also be an $875 handling and processing fee on top of that. The XL is Lexus's top of the line luxury utility vehicle. Its engine is a 5.7L 90 degree V8 constructed with an aluminum block and heads. It has four separate cams, dual variable valve timing with intelligence, four valves for each cylinder and a compression ratio of 10.2 to 1. The LX can crank out 383 horses at 5600 RPM and accelerate from 0 to 60 miles per hour in 7.4 seconds flat. It also features 15.8-second quarter mile times and a top track speed of 137 miles per hour. Like most of the company's lineup, the 2010 LX Lexus is a ULEV II certified vehicle. Ultra low emission vehicles help Lexus owners all over the planet to feel good about being green. The LX is estimated by the Environmental Protection Agency to deliver 12/18/14 mpg urban/rural/combined. People like large luxury utility vehicles like the Lexus LX for 2010 because they provide high levels of technology, safety and confidence for family travels. Lexus understands the importance you place on your family's safety, and they show it by offering standard safety features including:

  • Active frontal head rests that raise diagonally and upwards to help decrease the movement of the head, in relation to the spine, for certain types of low-speed rear-end collisions.
  • 10 separate airbags are part of the Lexus Pre-Collision System that utilizes millimeter-wave radar sensors to constantly scan for and detect impending collision situations. When such a situation is encountered, the front seat belts retract and the system for Brake Assist is activated to help maintain control.
  • The Safety Connect system from Lexus allows you to call for emergency assistance in a split second, even if you don't have your cell phone on you.
  • Vehicle Stability Control, 4-wheel Active Traction Control and a multi-terrain antilock braking system also join forces to provide excellent braking and handling performance, even on sand, dirt or gravel surfaces.
  • And of course, Lexus offers all of the other standard and optional safety features that you would expect.

The exterior dimensions of the 2010 Lexus LX are 196.5 x 77.6 x 75.6 inches (l x w x h). It travels on a 112.2-inch wheelbase and clears the ground by 8.9 inches. It has a maximum payload rating of 1411 pounds and can tow 8500 pounds when properly equipped. The curb weight is reported at 5995 pounds. Welded-steel construction standards attach the reinforced crumple zone body to a box-section ladder frame chassis. The LX features three separate seating rows and can accommodate up to eight adult passengers in complete comfort. Definitely worth checking out in person...
