The 2007 Lincoln Navigator SUV is available as a 4x2 and 4x4 in both the base and "ultimate" trim levels. MSRP ranges from $46,575 to $51,475. All are powered by a 300 horsepower, 5.4 liter, 3-valve V8 (automatic transmission with six speeds) delivering an estimated fuel economy of 13 mpg city and 18 highway. Cargo volume is 103.3 cubic feet posterior to the initial row; 54.4 to the second; and 18.1 to the third. With the proper towing equipment in place, the vehicle can handle loads ranging from 8,800 lbs. to 9,000 lbs.
All models are equipped with systems to control potential rollovers, to distribute brake force, and to monitor the pressure of the tires. Occupants enjoy the protection of a complete system of airbags including twin bags in the front as well as those shielding all rows in the curtain position. Child seats are held in place with the standard LATCH anchoring system and the rear locks are rated as child safe. Entry can be made via the remote and the SecuriLock system guards against car theft.
The audio package on the 2007 Lincoln Navigator is a standard combo unit with MP3 playback capability. It includes a changer in the dash with a capacity for six discs. A DVD-based system can be installed in the second row with an eight-inch screen, remote, and wireless headphones. The front seats, which are trimmed in leather, have ten levels of adjustment. The second row bucket seats both recline and fold flat. The third row (also foldable) is a bench.
