2010 Lincoln Town Car Review
The 2010 Lincoln Town Car once again has earned 5-Star safety ratings from the NHTSA. In fact, it has done so for 10 years straight now. And this year, it has received 5 stars in all five categories that are tested - the first vehicle in history to do so. Of course, that's practically expected. The new Town Car is lavishly spacious and continues to claim its rights as the standard for full-sized luxury American sedans. Premium-grade leather and genuine Burl Walnut wood trim complement the smooth, nickel accents of the cabin. Very comfortable seating for six will transport you and five golfing buddies to the courses with plenty of room in its cavernous trunk for all of your clubs.
The Lincoln Town Car for 2010, as expected, has loads of standard features for safety and luxury. 17-inch aluminum alloy wheels, speed sensitive steering, ABS and driveline traction control, heated door mirrors, height adjustable safety belts, airbags everywhere you look and frontal roll bars are just a few. The body is constructed from fully galvanized steel and is covered by a 60 month/unlimited mileage corrosion perforation warranty. Basic warranty coverage is good for 48 months/50,000 miles and the Powertrain warranty stays in effect for 72 months/70,000 miles.
The Lincoln Town Car for 2010 is also, of course very attentive to your needs for pampering. Adjustable pedals, 8-way power adjustable front seats, plenty of cubby holes for storage and an AM/FM/CD/mp3/Satellite stereo system with 9 high performance speakers/standard amplifier all help to make traveling a pleasure. The SYNC voice-activated entertainment/navigational system also carries over from 2009 - and is more fluently operational than ever.
The Town Car by Lincoln is available in two trims: Signature Limited and Signature L. Both are powered by a 4.6L E85 FlexFuel SOHC V8 engine that generates 239hp and 287 lb-ft of torque. It is mated to a smooth-shifting 4-speed automatic transmission with overdrive. Together, they will deliver you 16 /24 mpg city/highway. Competition arrives from the Acura RL, BMW 528, Infiniti M35 and the Cadillac DTS. MSRPs range from $46,525 up to $52,195.
Standard Quad-Beam headlights brighten even the darkest of roads while optional HID (high intensity discharge) headlights can very possibly be seen from other planets. Ultrasonic sensors combined with radar technologies of the Extended Rear Park Assist system alert you of objects up to 16 feet behind you when you're backing. You can count on the 2010 Lincoln Town Car to surpass your expectations of what a luxury sedan should provide for you. If you're wondering if it's included are not - bet that it is. Of course, the best thing for you to do is to simply take one out for a test spin. The Town Car sells itself.
