It has a six speed automatic transmission and can tow 3500 pounds. The MKX can achieve a speed of 60 miles per hour in 8.4 seconds and gets 16 miles per gallon in the city and 23 miles per gallon on highway. It is equipped with 18 inch tires, a system that helps the driver park the vehicle while reversing it, a telescoping steering wheel and a mirror that dims the light of oncoming traffic automatically. It also has seats that are both heated and cooled, a driver's seat with memory, a music system with six speakers and a CD player that can store six CDs at a time. Optional with the vehicle are 20 inch tires, heated back seats, a DVD entertainment system in the back, sun roof with a panoramic view and a stereo system with 11 speakers and surround sound.
