This makeover model is available as either a four-door sport sedan or four-door family sedan style with Kia Spectra appeal. A great number of upgrades are standard on the model, and even the stance has been widened, so that the Mazda6 looks like a completely different car for 2009. Not only was the Mazda6 due for an overhaul, the maker was also persuaded to change the model because of a lack of buyer interest. However, the new look, new engine, and general revamp is sure to generate attention.

One of the biggest changes for the 2009 Mazda6 is the more spacious interior. By increased the width and length of the model, Mazda was able to provide a more comfortable ride for its passengers.
