2007 Mercury Milan Review
The 2007 Mercury Milan is available in six models: I-4 ($19,490), V6 ($22,520), V6 AWD ($24,370), I-4 Premier ($21,490), V6 Premier ($24,075), and V6 Premier AWD ($25,925.) The I-4 models are powered by a 160 horsepower, 2.3-liter Duratec 4-cylinder engine, while the V6 models push 221 horsepower with their 3-liter engine. Fuel economy estimates range from 19 mpg city, 26 highway to 23/31. The base model and the I-4 Premier have a five-speed manual transmission. All other models are six-speed automatics.
With maximum seating for five, the Milan has front headroom of 38.7 inches, rear 27.8. Leg room is 42.3 and 37 inches respectively. Cargo volume is 15.8 inches. The three lower models have premium cloth seating while the Premier models are leather. The standard audio package is a six-speaker AM/FM/CD player with MP3 capability and audio input jack. The Premier models have the same system with six-disc, in-dash changer. An eight-speaker upgraded sound system that includes a SIRIUS satellite radio is available.
Safety measures on the 2007 Mercury Milan include multi-stage driver and front-passenger airbags; as well as head-protecting and side-impact airbags for the front seat. Traction control, and sensors that detect front seat-belt usage and front passenger seat occupancy are also part of the safety package.
