With either a 6-speed automatic or a 6-speed manual transmission, expect the 2010 Mercury Milan to go from zero to sixty miles per hour in around 9.5 seconds.

Many practical touches, such as grocery bag hooks and overhead storage, the 2009 Mercury Milan is a practical full-size sedan at a reasonable price.

Inspired by big cities and expensive accessories, the 2008 Mercury Milan also has the ability to transport objects almost as long as the entire interior, thanks to fold-flat front and back passenger seats, and a pass-through from the trunk.
The Mercury Milan was introduced in 2006 as the mid size sedan replacement for the Mercury Sable. Although it is almost identical to the Ford Fusion, it does have a more refined and well appointed interior and more standard equipment than the Fusion. The luxury and sport inspired base model 2006 Milan included some upscale features such as keyless entry, six way power driver seat, premium stereo with six speakers and MP3 capability, cruise control, split folding rear seat and full power accessories. The Premier models were equipped with 17 inch aluminum wheels and leather seating with options packages that included heated seats and automatic climate control. With a touch of sporty styling and an affordable price, this sedan premiered as one of the more luxurious in its class and enjoyed steady sales.
For the 2007 model year the Milan i4 and the Milan V6 both come standard with a power driver's seat, air conditioning, full power accessories, automatic climate control, and a tire pressure monitoring system. This mid size sedan is powered by either a fuel efficient 2.3 liter inline 4 cylinder engine or a more robust 3.0 liter V6. Additional standard features include a fold down front passenger seat, anti lock brakes and front mounted and side curtain airbags. The V6 models are now available with traction control standard and Premier models now include satellite radio and a DVD based navigational system. Additionally, the V6 can now be equipped with optional all wheel drive. The new sporty appearance options package for the base model includes a leather wrapped steering wheel, suede seat inserts, a rear spoiler, 17 inch wheels and an attractive ice blue accented interior color combination.
The Mercury Milan handles exceptionally well, looks sleek and the cabin is relatively quiet and void of most road and wind noise. The combination of performance, style and value have helped Milan to continue to successfully compete in the mid size sedan category.
