2009 Nissan GT-R Review

The 2009 Nissan GT-R is an absolutely gorgeous piece of machinery. This sports car was specifically designed to be driven by anyone, anywhere. It has a sleek design that has been compared to a baseball cap turned backwards, which the male segment of the population will likely find appealing. Not sure if it's for you? Read on.

The GT-R's designers made a point of making sure that this model was put together in such as way as to minimize drag. They didn't sacrifice the driver's need for good quality headlights in their design, though; this Nissan is outfitted with high intensity discharge headlights in the front and circular taillights at the back.

With its 480 hp V6 engine, the GT-R has power to spare. Each 3.8L engine used in a 2009 Nissan GT-R is crafted by hand by a master technician in a clean room. The transmission is also built by hand, and gives the driver the choice of three settings: Normal, R-Mode, and Off.

When you slip behind the wheel, you won't be lacking for information about what is going on with the GT-R. Drivers can access 11 screens of information to keep track of the car's temperature, oil pressure, and lap time (for those who need to know these things). Simply touch the screen to access the 411 you are looking for.

This two-door coupe can seat four passengers comfortably. The interior features aluminum accents for an attractive and comfortable ride.

Safety features haven't been ignored in this Nissan's design. Driver, passenger, and side air bags are all standard on the GT-R. Traction control, gravity control, and an alarm system are also important features that Nissan buyers can count on getting when they buy the 2009 version. Other features that come standard on this model include cruise control, air conditioning, power window and mirrors, and adjustable steering.

Car buyers who are interested in the GT-R may also want to look at either the Corvette Z06 or the Porsche 911 Turbo. If your dream is to own a vehicle that can take you from zero to 60 in under four seconds, then you will want to consider the 2009 Nissan GT-R. You'll have to dig deep, though; the MSRP on this vehicle is $69,850, but if you want a ride that is ready to kick butt and take names, the GT-R fits the bill.
