The 2011 Subaru Outback is an all-wheel-drive wagon that comes onto the scene featuring invoice prices ranging between $21,848 and $29,484. (Don't forget to add in the cost of insurance...)All six trims come with a 36 month/36,000 mile basic warranty. 2011 marks the beginning of the fourth-generation of the Outback, and as always, Subaru makes no bones about calling it the "world’s first sport utility wagon."

Measuring 188.2 x 71.7 x 65.7 inches in exterior length, width and height, the Subaru Outback 2011 is certainly not the tiny unit. It requires 18.4 feet of turning radius. Its wheelbase measures 107.9 inches and it clears the ground by 8.7. Base trim curb weight is reported at 3386 pounds. It features a 2.5L 170-horsepower 170 pound-foot H4 engine that's joined up to a stock 6-speed transmission. Automatic and CVT transmissions are also optionally available. And new for 2011, there's the optional 3.6L 256-horsepower 247 pound-foot H6 engine (teammate with a 5-speed auto tranny). The basic setup will deliver 19/27 MPG city/highway.
