Both the Sport and the Luxury trims are equipped with a 2.0L inline 4-cylinder engine that produces 200 horsepower at 5100 RPM and 207 lb-ft of torque at a low 1700 RPM. The engine is joined to the Volkswagen Direct Shift Gearbox (DSG) that has replaced the automatic transmission that was standard last year. Sport trims deliver 21/31 MPG while no fuel economy ratings have been reported for the Luxury trims.
