2010 Volvo S80 Review
There are three separate base engines available for the 2010 Volvo S80, each highly impressive. The FWD version is available with a 3.2L 235-horsepower (@ 6200 RPM) 236 lb-ft (@ 3200 RPM) inline 6-cylinder powerplant. Alternatively, a 3.2L 225-horsepower PZEV is available. V8 trims receive a powerful 4.4L 311-horsepower (@ 5950 RPM) 325 lb-ft (@ 3950 RPM) V8 engine and the T6 trim is equipped with a very exciting 3.0L 281-horsepower (@ 5600 RPM) 295 lb-ft (@ 1500 RPM) turbocharged I6. All engine options are mated with a standard 6-speed Geartronic automatic gearbox. EPA-estimated fuel economy ratings are reported at 18/27 mpg city/highway for base trim versions.
Pricing for the Volvo S80 2010 ranges from $39,200 up to $50,950 making it compete nicely with the Audi A6 ($45,200), the BMW 528 ($45,950) and the Lexus GS 350 ($45,600). And you can still take advantage of excellent loan incentives currently available. Of course it's good looking, but it's also strong and powerful. With standard seating for five, all trims are 4-door sedans. You'll find a cabin generously loaded with impressive standard amenities including:

- Dual rear headrest DVD monitors;
- Heated and cooled ventilated seating;
- Superior air filtration system;
- Dolby Pro Logic II Surround Dynaudio entertainment system;
- And loads more...

This beautifully safe and luxuriously fast flagship sedan from Volvo should not be overlooked without serious consideration for purchase.
All trims of the 2010 Volvo S80 measure 191.0 inches long, 73.3 inches wide and 58.8 inches tall. They utilize a 111.6-inch wheelbase and clear the ground by 5.8 inches. Head, shoulder, hip and leg room measurements are very nice, even for rear passengers who can stretch their bones out in 56 inches of shoulder room, 55 inches of hip room and 35.0 inches of legroom. 14.9 cubic feet of standard and not-expandable luggage capacity is found in the trunk.
